How to play Sequence Memory

Bring your attention to one round of Sequence Memory. Repeat every shown position in order. A wrong position ends the current session. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Look at what changes after your first action.

Notice the feedback

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Repeat every shown position in order. A wrong position ends the current session. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Choose Start again to begin.
  2. Watch each highlighted pad without clicking.
  3. When the game says Your turn, tap the pads in the same order.
  4. A correct sequence leads to a longer round.

Controls

Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

For a sequence 2, 7, 2, tap pad 2, then 7, then 2 again. Repeated positions still count. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Look for the relevant detail.

Watch out for this

The task is to remember order, not just which pads appeared. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
