How to play Letter Link

Open Letter Link, check the instructions and begin a round. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Use the example below to understand a decision. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Make the controls familiar

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Notice the feedback after each input.

Your goal

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Try to explain the aim in your own words.

Step by step

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Controls

Tap letters and Submit word. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.

A useful example

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the game’s format in mind.

Watch out for this

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
