How to play Pinball
Start Pinball by looking at the playing area and its controls. Reach 1,500 points before three balls drain. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Check the rule that explains your first action. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
Original compact two-flipper table with three bumpers.
A useful comparison
Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Keep the objective visible.
Your goal
Reach 1,500 points before three balls drain. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Follow this game’s rules rather than another version’s.
Step by step
- Start to launch.
- Use the two flippers.
- Bumper collisions score.
- Launch remaining balls after a drain.
Controls
Hold Left/Right flipper or arrow keys. Start / pause and New round are available. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.
A useful example
Activate the flipper when the ball reaches its active surface. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Verify the rule before continuing.
Watch out for this
A drained ball cannot be rescued. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
